Bushland Management

The National Trust is a not-for-profit, non-government community-based organisation working to conserve our natural, built and cultural heritage.

The National Trust’s Bushland Management Services started in 1976. Joan Bradley, one of the Bradley sisters generally credited with having pioneered Bush Regeneration, was employed by the Trust to supervise a pilot scheme to regenerate bushland at the National Trust owned Ludovic Blackwood Sanctuary. The Trust then trained regenerators along with Joan Bradley in the use of the Bradley method. The National Trust has been active in the promotion of innovative bushland management practices since then.

The Bushland Management Services is part of the Conservation Department of the National Trust of Australia (NSW). It is reliable and trusted as it has long experience in the field of bushland restoration. Excess monies raised from bush regeneration are dedicated back into the National Trust of Australia (NSW).
