Bob Debus Corporate Breakfast
The National Trust Corporate Breakfast, with special guest speaker the Hon. Bob Debus MP.
The second Corporate Breakfast for 2006 was a great success and a hugely enjoyable morning. Over 120 guests were entertained and intrigued by the Hon. Bob Debus, MP’s rousing speech on the importance of our cultural and natural heritage.
As longest serving Minister for the Arts, the Environment, Corrective Services and Attorney General, Minister Debus speaks from one of the most impressive and knowledgeable viewpoints in politics today. Last Thursday he discussed the changes that had been made to conserve natural parklands in Australia, and the significant Aboriginal landmarks.
National Trust President the Hon. Barry O’Keefe AM QC summed up his opinion of Minister Debus’ work, stating that in his opinion, being Minister of Corrective Services would be a walk in the park compared to the battles as being Minister for the Environment.
November will see Justice Brian Preston speak at the last National Trust Corporate Breakfast for 2006. If you would like to book, please call Kylie Westaway on 02 9258 0181.
