National Trust Heritage Festival 2007
Our Changing Natural Landscape
In association with the ‘Historic Trees: Hardy Wilson and Beyond’ exhibition, a series of talks will be held at the National Trust Centre on Observatory Hill demonstrating different aspects of our natural landscape, as well as a look into the intriguing life of the artist, Mavis Turner.
With particular focus on sustainability and our unique flora,
issues of environmental conservation, both the vulnerability and
loss of Australian plantlife and efforts being made to save it will
be addressed, as well as better planning and management of
historic gardens and cultural landscapes. We are particularly
honoured to be joined by the speakers below, bringing a variety
of viewpoints.
