Area Coordinator (Full time position)

The National Trust of Australia is seeking a highly motivated person to be part of a team which manages bushland restoration projects. This position is based at Observatory Hill, Sydney. The successful applicant will have substantial experience in bushland restoration, staff management and client liaison.

The Area Coordinator will be responsible for tendering for contracts and coordinating projects in western Sydney and the Lower Blue Mountains. The work includes liaison with clients eg. local Councils, preparation of quotes and other reports, coordination of staff, implementation of OHS, site assessment and other tasks as required.

BUSH REGENERATORS

The National Trust of Australia requires Bush Regenerators: Site Supervisors, trained Bush Regenerators and Trainees to work in various bushland sites located throughout the Sydney area, particularly the Eastern Suburbs. These positions for are casual. Award Conditions and rates apply.

 

TAFE Bush Regeneration qualification is preferred. Applicants must have minimum of Chemical Safety training (AQF 2 or equivalent) for use of herbicides.
