Your comments on the campaign to save Patrick White's House

Dear National Trust, I think it is a wonderful idea to keep Patrick & Manoly's home at Centennial Park. A poster I designed for his play "Signal Driver" which used to hang next to his desk may have been dispersed in the sale of the contents. If you would like a copy to replace it I have one at home and I would be very pleased to contribute it to your cause. Patrick White left an enduring legacy in his writing. He is an author of world significance - and surely Australia's greatest writer. There is now a unique and last-ditch opportunity to provide a lasting physical focus to celebrate and promote his work, and to foster creative writing in Australia. It would be a terrible thing if this opportunity is lost.
