AGREE with the terms of the Charter of Protectors of Public Lands, as set out on the back of this Pledge.

AGREE that there should be an immediate moratorium on the alienation by sale or lease of any public land in the State until its full significance has been properly and carefully assessed in consultation with the community and in accordance with the terms of the Charter.

AGREE that any public land assessed as being significant must not be sold out of the public domain or alienated from the public by lease.

PLEDGE to take all reasonable steps to follow and implement the Charter, support the moratorium, and help preserve significant public lands in public ownership for present and future generations.
